On May 15th Univisions Sábado Gigante featured a balloon sculpture building contest between three well know Latino soap opera stars on their Si Se Puede or Yes, it is possible segment. Carmen taught the actors for four days at the Event Decorating Academy. They learned so much that they were able to complete large sized balloon sculptures on air by the end of the week. Everyone including Carmen had a great time.
The Novelas (Soap Opera) Actors Rafael Marcante, Julio Mannino & Aitor Iturroz were competing to win $5,000 for a family in need. She also got to meet Don Francisco, the host of Sábado Gigante.

Famous Latina singer Karolina con K wearing one of Carmen Ballering’s Balloon Couture Fashion Dresses on Univision’s Sábado Gigante. This aired on April 24th, 2010.
The dress is made entirely of uninflated latex balloons. Yes, you can do more with a balloon than twisting it into a little doggie.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Artex (Latex Balloon Art) Gallery grand opening and Balloon Couture Dress fashion show. All of the dresses are made with uninflated latex balloons.
The fashion show was awesome! There was so much excitement surrounding the show that we needed to put on a second show to accommodate everyone. A special thanks to all of the models, media, my staff and others that helped make this event happen. The opening performance by Ria was fantastic
